Mental Maths :  Use 20 objects from around the house. Split the objects  between you and your child in different ways to show ways to make 20. There are 20 lego bricks in the box. I have  11 bricks, how many bricks do you have?  There are 20 pencils on the tray. I have 13 pencils how many do you have?

Wednesday

Mental Maths : Gather 20 items from around the  garden. Find different ways to make 20. Can you say the sum? e.g. 4 pebbles plus 16 pebbles equals 20 altogether. Twelve twigs plus 8 twigs makes 20 altogether.
