Welcome to our new HOME LEARNING NUMERACY activities for this week.

This week we are continuing to consolidate numbers  0 to  9 and learning to

FORMATION - Practise writing numbers 0 to 9 on your whiteboard.

SONGS - Enjoy the Counting 1 to 12 songs in the numeracy section.  Make sure to get all your family to sing along.

DAILY ACTIVITIES

Find your number cards 0 - 9 and set them 'FACE DOWN.'

Draw an 'empty' set on your whiteboard. 

Choose a number card.  Using coins, counters, buttons, spoons etc... make a set of that number.

Use your finger to write the a NUMBER  on your mummy's / daddy's back.  Can they guess what the number is??

Find your number cards 0 - 9 and set them 'FACE DOWN.'

Choose a number and star jump that number of times.

e.g. if you pick a 7 star jump 7 times.

Can you make numbers 0 - 9  with doh?? Can you make a set of doh things to go with each number??

WRITTEN ACTIVITIES in TSD BOOK

TUESDAY -->

Match the people to their cars by looking at their number and counting the spots on the cars.  Write the number on the cars and colour.

THURSDAY --> 

Colour the doors that are WIDE ENOUGH for each animal to enter.  Talk about why the animal may not be able to fit through the door.
