Term 2B - Week 1
I hope everyone enjoyed the Mid Term Break.
This week we will be:
* learning all about the LETTER 'r'
* sounding across, identifying sounds, making CVC words with our letter cards and
then writing them
* learning HF (High Frequency) words - these are words we will see frequently
in our reading and will need to use these words in our writing
* Consolidate Numbers 0 - 8
* Partition sets into SUB-SETS up to 10,
* Combine sets (up to 8) to find TOTAL (practically)
* Continue to understand 1 - 1 correspondence by matching
* Continuing to understand conservation of numbers 1 - 8
* Adding 1 More to a set and begin to understand the answer is always
the NEXT number in the number line.
* Know that 0 has a value of 'nothing'
* Use 1p coins to buy and sell during play.
