A D D I T I O N using N U M I C O N

 

We have been using NUIMCON to help learn how to do ADDITION SUMS.

Each piece of NUIMCON has a specific colour.

Each piece of NUIMCON has a number of holes to match the number --> 6 piece has 6 holes. 

 

 

NUIMCON is designed to FIT TOGETHER to make a

BIGGER number.

This makes it perfect for ADDITION to 10.

 

A set of NUIMCON pieces were included in the 

Welcome Folder sent home at the beginning of the year.

Please cut out each shape to complete the sums.

 

Try these simple addition sums using your NUIMCON pieces.

It is NOT NECESSARY to buy it but it really is a 

SUPER RESOURCE to have for your child to help with Numeracy as they progress through their school years.
