Well done to Anna Rose and Aylesbury for taking part in a Blitz in Crome Park on Monday!
A huge congratulations to Conor and Jude on representing the school in a recent Hurley tournament! Well done boys!
We had a blast this morning with some art activities. We took turns to make clay amulets and jewellery, canopic jars and death masks with some interesting faces...
Check out some of the funny faces we used on our Egyptian death masks...
Next wee took turns to go on a scavenger hunt around the school, Mrs Rooney was very creative at hiding number 7 so no one could find it hehe!
We worked as pairs to make egg mummies. Miss Madden helped us to separate the yolk from the egg white and we added this to salt. This will help to draw out the moisture and we will check on them before the end of P5 to see if we really do have egg mummies!
A huge thank you for each and everyone of your creations! I am blown away by your creativity and the effort everyone went to! Thank you again and I hope you had a wonderful day ❤️
Finally we finished the day with a mummy making competition. Each group was given one toilet roll to wrap their friend as best they could. Everyone had a blast and of course we had to have fun with the left over toilet roll at the end!
