MONDAY
Look at us making our Superhero / Fairytale
Class Phone Book
... and even more phoning them. The craic was mighty :)
TUESDAY
We had so much fun decorating 1/4 circles to add to the WHOLE SCHOOL SHAPE MOSAIC MURAL
as part of
'THE SHAPE ART OF OUR SCHOOL COMMUNITY'

WEDNESDAY
We had great fun COUNTING SCORES at PE
with Danny
Then we had a COUNTING CHALLENG -
Mrs Magee drew 2D Shapes on the floor.
We looked at the shapes and had to GUESS how many jumps it would take us to jump around the shape.
Then we jumped around:
Square - Cirlce - Rectangle - Triangle - Rhombus
Our guesses
Our guesses were all CORRECT
We worked out that we can't guess how many jumps around a circle because there are NO CORNERS and NO POINTS

THURSDAY
We had great more fun in MOVEMENT in MATHEMATICS
with Miss O'Hare & all the boys and girls from our SLD
FRIDAY
Well... did you ever see as much YUMMINESS in P1
A huge WELL DONE & THANK YOU to all the boys and girls and parents / grandparents for taking part in our
1st ever GREAT MATHEMATICS BAKE OFF.
We were BLOWN AWAY by the creativity and imagination and skill.
Certain to say... this is a memory your child will NEVER FORGET

What an AMAZING selection of home baking we had on Friday morning. We were really blown away with the effort made by everyone!!
