We have been exploring characters during Literacy time. Roald Dahl's Matilda loved to read. "The books transported her to new worlds..She went to Africa with Ernest Hemingway and India with Rudyard Kipling. She travelled all over the world while sitting in her little room in an English village."
We have also been learning about Titanic.
For your homework this week, I would like you to CHOOSE one of the following tasks:
a) Email me with the title of a book that transported you somewhere else. This could be a real place or a magical land.
b) Email me the name of a modern day cruise ship.
You can email me by replying to the message I sent you last week.
