Outdoor Learning Tuesday with Liz

Meeting Liz - we can't wait to find out what we are going to do!

Listening to "We're going on a Bear Hunt" by Michael Rosen. WE WEREN'T SCARED!!

Oh no!! Broney Bear has escaped from Liz's rucksack. We'd better GO ON A BEAR HUNT.

We found a RED PAW PRINT and a clue. We had to listen for a ROBIN SINGING.

CUBBY BEAR needed a big cuddle!!

The BLUE PAW PRINT clues were all about textures found in nature - sheep's wool, pine cone, conker shell etc...

The GREEN PAW PRINT clues taught us that it can be important to cut down trees too!

The YELLOW PAW PRINT clues taught us about LEAVES - especially the OAK LEAF and we now know the 'Oakey Cokey' song.

The last RED PAW PRINT clues asked us to investigate COLOURS in our Sensory Garden. We found lots of GREEN.

Always time for a wee bun!!

The last PAW PRINT clue led us to - B R O N E Y BEAR !!!

We played 'The Wood Chopper' game - and it was fun!!

We made a start on planting some lovely things in our OUTSIDE PLAY AREA. Liz told us that bees like purple flowers best!!

We played the BEARS SLEEPING game. It was the BEST GAME EVER!!

And the smiles show we had the BEST NATURE DAY EVER!!
