How to Grow a Sunflower! Well, just ask P2 children because they were great at it today. We filled our pots to the rim with soil and made a hole in the soil with our finger. We put the seed in the hole and covered it with soil. We watered our plant and labelled it with our name. We just had time for a quick play on that lovely day!!
Growing for the future Project - Our Eco team gave us all the resources and seeds we needed to plant Nasturtium and cress today as part of their project. We all had great fun outdoors learning about the conditions of growth for different seeds.
We started our celebrations with a beautiful St Patrick's Eve snack. Check out the GREEN milk, the shamrock chocolates and all our other choices! Delicious!!
Actisports was so much fun today. Being part of a team means we have to work for each other.

Our story of St Patrick taught us the importance of the shamrock in explaining the Holy Trinity: God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We really enjoyed collaging and decorating our St Patrick's Day shamrocks.
