Waste Week
As part of our Waste Week activities, we have been focusing on food packaging. We looked at the all the information that is on food packaging, with a particular focus on crisp packets and cereal boxes. We then started to create and design out own crisp packet or cereal box, including all of the important information including traffic light system for nutritional value, brand, name, picture, flavour and weight.

Mini-Beast Hunt
Today we went on a mini-beast Hunt in our sensory garden. In preperation for the hunt, we each made and decorated our own magnifying glasses to help us explore and inspect the mini-beasts we found. We had a list of 12 mini-beasts that we were looking for and we had to identify where we found each. We had so much fun takin gpart in our mini-beast hunt. We let all our mini-beasts back out after we had used the equioment to inspect them.

Mini-beast Arts and Crafts
Today, we took part in ars and crafts to create our own mini-beasts. we use lots of different resources including bottles, pipe cleaners, feathers, paints, card and many more items. We each chose which type of mini-beast we wanted to create to add to our Snail display. We can't wait to show off our finished product!
Our May Altar
Minibeast Snail
To kick off our Mini-beast topic, we made a snail for our display made of different coloured bottle lids. We each got a turn to stick the bottle lids on to make a snail and will continue to carry our more Arts and Crafts to compete our topic board!
