We were delighted to welcome Cara, Conor and Sé to P2 with the Tony Carr Cup, which was awarded to Clann Mhúrn Hurling Club on Saturday in Páirc Esler, Newry. Our P2 hurlers joined them as we gave them all 3 cheers! Maith sibh!

Well done to all of our stars of the week! Mr Kelly gave out stars of the week for both this week and last week, then we had our very own Primary 2 stars of the week. These pupils have been going above and beyond during our first few weeks. The whole class is trying so hard. Well done Primary 2

Well done to all our fantastic Primary 2's who had a taste of a selection of fruits and vegetables. Today we tried broccoli, carrots, celery, peppers, sweet corn, tomatoes, green beans, watermelon, oranges and ice lolies to balance it all out. We had some interesting facial expressions when tasting new foods.

During play we focused on our fine motor skills, practicing our pinch grip. Our pinch grip is very important when using scissors, paint brushes, even writing!

Today we got to go to the ICT suite. We had so much fun combining our new math topic with our ICT skills. Have a look at our brilliant Pictograms, they show us different peoples favourite fruits. We made them using the Just2Easy app, which we can access from home!

Well done to our Primary 2 stars of the week, Ivy and Jack! What a brilliant week you both have had. Well done to everyone, a super week in P2

This week we have been learning about our facial features, healthy teeth and patterns! Have a little look at our play based learning to see how we are putting our new knowledge into action.

All of Primary 2 were super excited to have Danny back in school! He has already taught us some great hurling and camogie skills, we can not wait to learn more!

Well done to Ali, Rory and Orla! Our Primary 2 stars of the week who have certainly gone above and beyond this week!

We are settling so well into P2. Mrs Rooney is so proud of us!
