We really enjoyed watching the Lifecycle of a Butterfly unfold over the past few weeks. Today it was time to release all our butterflies in our sensory garden.

We enjoyed an indoor 'Daily Mile' today and returned to class to special treats. Many thanks to our Parent Support Group who donated an Easter egg for every child.

We had to change our Easter Hunt plans because of the weather but we still had so much fun looking around the school for a golden egg, which we swapped with Mrs Rooney for a treat!

Continuing our learning of the lifecycles we discussed and researched bird homes, and decided we could make our own very yummy little bird nests. It was a big hit in P2!

As our caterpillars have grown and developed, they are now moving onto the next stage of their life as they become a chrysalis! We worked very carefully to transport them from their individual housing pots to our large butterfly net which will allow them enough room to fly when ready to emerge.

How happy is Ruben to receive Mr Kelly's STAR of the week for the week ending 11th April? We are all so happy for you too Ruben!

We are so pleased for Darragh and Charlie, our two very deserving STARS of the week in Primary 2 for the week ending 11th April. Well done!

Special birthday wishes to Mrs Trainor! Have a lovely weekend. Lots of love from all of us in P2 xx

We are very proud of our P2 STARS of the week for the week ending 4th April. Congratulations Rory and Caitlin!

Well done Niall, we are delighted for you! Mr Kelly's P2 STAR of the week for 4th April.
