Tuesday - SHAPE & SPACE
P6 made 3d mountains from nets.
Look at our Tangram puzzles! We arranged seven shapes to create different boats. We used our ipads to scan the QR code and access tangram puzzle activities. During Play Based Learning we using a cylinder shape to create lobsters.
We had great fun using junk materials to build 3 d shape transport vehicles. We counted the corners and faces on the cubes, cuboids and cylinders.
Today we investigated the properties of 2D SHAPES - we put SKITTLES on the POINTS and CORNERS too.
P4 explored the properties of 2d shapes and used a variety of these shapes to design their own Rangoli patterns.
P7 drew circles and created patterns using a compass.
