What is First Reconciliation?

 

We make our First Reconciliation before we receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion.  Reconciliation is one of the seven sacraments.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation has a few different names - Penance, Confession and Reconciliation.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is when we confess how we did not show love to God. Through the priest, God listens and forgives us.

We ask for forgiveness and we grow closer to God.
