A Bridge to France 🇫🇷

Check out our all of the photos from our amazing trip to W5! We had a blast presenting our bridge, making a model car and the tallest tower as well as playing in W5 and going on Cliimbit!

Check out some of the amazing bridges we made at home in preparation for our competition entry! Miss Madden and Miss Joyce were blown away by our creativity ❤️

Today we had our last STEM. Asked activity session and we learnt how to make wire supports to enhance our bridge. Check out our creations as we used the string to support different types of weights.

As part of listening work for Literacy week we learnt how to build a wire support for the bridges. We made lots of small tubes and stuck them r to make them more secure and to reinforce them. Check out how much weight they could hold!

Today W5 visited us and we made bridges building K’nex. It was harder than it looked. First we made some simple shapes to help us build the base of the bridge...

Next we got to build and design our own bridge. Check us out hard at work...

Finally we got to test our bridges to make sure they would work properly...

Look at what we made with our amazing team work! Miss Madden and Miss Joyce are so proud of us and our creative designs🌟

Today we had our first call with our French teacher, Manon. We got to learn about where she lives, what she eats and about her local area. We even learnt some French and practiced with our partners!

We had lots of fun making towers using cards. It was hard to make sure they were still standing by the end of the ten minutes. We used great team work!

Today we made bridges with and without an arch. Can you guess which supported the bridge more?
