Spaghetti Shape fun
On Tuesday we had great fun playing Bingo with our friends and family. Cora and Jayden even won a prize! After our games we had great fun on our Daily Dander with some maths questions thrown in.
On Monday in Maths Week we enjoyed Maths all Morning! We had a challenge task to save a planet from pollution. First we had to measure our body for our space suit which included our arm and leg length as well as handspan for gloves. Next we had to complete a series of escape room challenges to save the planet from becoming too polluted! Check out the photos below...
We had a lovely visit from the author Declan Carville who spoke to us about all of this wonderful books. He inspired us to write our own stories by telling us how he started writing in Primary 5.
Check out our cool costumes! We had the pleasure of having students from Hogwarts, some of Ronald Dahl’s most exciting characters, 6 football players lots of other amazing characters from our most loved books.
On Wednesday we were read a mystery book by Mr Crowley from P4. We had to guess what the front cover of the book was! On Thursday we did lots of World Book day tasks such as the masked reader, hot seating and creating our own literacy character. Check us out in the photos below.
On Tuesday the classroom was transformed into a Book Chat Cafe. We moved around the tables sampling different books to experience genres that we might not have tried before!
To kick off Literacy Week we had a visit from Miss Ella who spoke to us about the importance of reading for pleasure and show it can help us to look after our mental health.
