Maths Week 2022
Monday - Today to kickstart maths week we played lots of games like Cowboy Maths and bingo! We are mental maths stars!
Tuesday - Where is the maths in that? Darragh found the maths in the reflection and we had lots of fun discussing the images at our tables. We even had a picture of the Eiffel Tower which we are learning about.
Tuesday - for Tuesday homework we had to find the maths in the world around us! Check out what we found at home.
Wednesday - Today we made our own cake sale. We designed our own cakes, priced them and then made up orders using column addition. Some of us even calculated their change!
Thursday - Number posters.Today we made posters in our table groups to help us with our Number Vocabulary. We also played guess the numeracy word with the vowels removed. Can you guess the answers to some of the words?
Friday - Macmillan Daily Mile
Friday - not on the table maths. Today we learnt about how to make and use pulleys. We measured the string to make the pulley and used weights to see how ,ugh they can hold. Look at all the fun we had!
