P6 Safer Internet Day

The Spaghetti Tree Hoax was broadcast on April Fools’ Day 1957 by BBC Panorama.  Many people were unfamiliar with spaghetti and were fooled by the report.  It has later been described as “The biggest Hoax that any reputable news establishment has ever pulled.”  It reminds us to check that information is reliable.

P6 recreated their own versions of The Spaghetti Tree Hoax

P6 created Safer Internet Day posters, thought about scenarios and watched the BBC live lesson on Internet Safety.
