On Wednesday we had a Viking Minecraft day. Firstly we visited the Viking village and made our own longhouse.
After all of our exploring and teleporting we had a go at building our own Viking longship! Check out some of our amazing designs!
Next we explored the Viking world looking at the villages, Asgard, the Rainbow Bridge, Yggdrasill tree, longships and the Giants Frost Cave!
P5 had great fun learning Irish today as part of European Day of Languages. We played games using our body parts, recited our P4 Feis poem and are excited to use more Irish in our classroom!
Viking Rune Hunt - We went to the Eco Garden and discovered that a Viking had been and left hidden runes with a secret message! We had great fun searching for the rune stones.
